February 18, 2015
With the harsh winter still raging back in the northeast Michael, Nicholas and d'Orlando Racing Corp., Inc. (DRC) are enjoying the warmer climate in Central Florida. The team will spend the next two weeks continuing their 2015 racing campaign in the Cold Stone Florida Winter Tour Powered by MAXSpeed at the Orlando Kart Center. Both d’Orlando brothers are hungry and ready to get back to racing action.
d'Orlando Racing Corp., Inc. (DRC) spent last weekend testing for round three of the Cold Stone Florida Winter Tour Powered by MAXSpeed. Michael and Nicholas along with their Cart Chiefs and teams have been working hard on race setups in preparation for this weekend’s race.
Michael will take action in the Vortex ROK Junior category this weekend and is looking forward to racing and producing solid results on the race track.
“I am really excited about this weekend’s race, said Michael. “Our racing team has worked hard in helping me dial in the kart. Last weekend we tried a number of different set ups in testing and practice and I liked the way my kart performed. In the end we found some speed and got better on our consistency so I am feeling good going into this weekend’s race. The competition here is very tough in the Vortex ROK Junior category. Every time I am on the track I keep learning more and more and I feel more confident that I can produce good results. I want to thank KoeneUSA and Koene Engines for their support and providing us with a good solid engine packages.”
While Nicholas looks to lead the pack in the Mini ROK category, he feels confident going into this weekend’s events.
“It has been a good week of preparation, said Nicholas. “I am looking forward to racing this weekend as well. We had a solid test and practice here at the Orlando Kart Center last weekend. Michael and I have been helping each other get ready. I can’t thank KoeneUSA enough for the hard work they have put into helping me get ready for the race and thanks to Koene Engines for giving us a good solid motor to allow us to be competitive. I am looking forward to this weekend competition and producing good results.”
