In classic western style, like a modern day Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp, the duo of Michael d'Orlando and Velocity Racing Development ["VRD"] are back at it again this weekend as they take on the final race of the season at the F4 US Championship event at the Circuit of the Americas ["COTA"] in Austin, TX. And as if a 40 car F4 grid and racing at COTA isn't exciting enough, the F4 grid will be racing the same weekend on the same circuit with the Formula 1 Emirates 2019 United States Grand Prix, providing a myriad of entertainment, activities and attractions for everyone including drivers, supporters, partners, sponsors and race fans.

d'Orlando has only competed in three race events in 2019 due to budget restrictions. But now thanks to the support of partners such as DB Collaborative in New York NY, he will have the opportunity to complete his F4 US Championship run in a remarkable fashion.

Unless you have competed at the F4 event at COTA in previous years, there is very little opportunity to get familiar with this circuit. However, with support from friends at Skip Barber Racing School ["SBRS"], d'Orlando was given an opportunity to help the legendary race school by shaking down the new SBRS Formula America fleet at the famed circuit. Additionally, VRD sent both of their drivers, including d'Orlando, to COTA for a one-day-only test in a higher horse-powered F3 machine. For this race weekend the schedule is very limited with only a single practice session on Thursday morning before the Qualifying session that same afternoon, followed up by only a single race event on each of Saturday and Sunday mornings. Despite all the limitations, d’Orlando is prepped and excited for the upcoming event.

"The opportunities with Skip Barber Racing School and VRD were an incredible chance for me to experience a race track I have never been to before." says d'Orlando. "I feel that they helped provide a little head start for me since my experience in the F4 car (and car racing in general) is very limited in comparison to most of my competition. I am also confident that Dan [Mitchell -VRD team manager] has put all the effort and time possible to make the car the absolute best race car it can be. Thank you for the support of DB Collaborative to help me be on track to experience this event and I look forward to hanging out with John (Macones) and Albert (Pyun). I am very excited to compete in the event and race the same weekend with F1 and it will be an amazing experience, but I am focused on my performance for the best results."

The opportunity at COTA has extended to d'Orlando Enterprises' partners and supporters for a remarkable experience. The event presents an atmosphere for everyone to meet fellow race enthusiasts in an estimated attendance of over 250,000 race fans, including a driver's autograph session and personally arranged meet-n-greets throughout the weekend. Friday and Saturday evening will be topped off with a concert from legendary musicians Imagine Dragons and Pink! d'Orlando Enterprises and DB Collaborative will be trackside all race weekend, and d'Orlando will participate in the F4 drivers' autograph session on Saturday, with posters and wristbands available for our younger race fans.

d'Orlando will be the #61 car with Velocity Racing Development. Follow his racing results on the mobile app "Race Monitor" or on the F4 US Championship website at
